    Determining the Size of the Cane Needed:

    The size of the cane used is determined by the spacing between the holes. A 1000' hank of cane consists of 80-100 strands of cane varying from 10-25' in length and is sufficient amount for weaving four seats of 72 holes, each approximately 12" x 12" square. A half hank of cane should be sufficient amount for weaving almost any single panel. All cane orders include binder cane for the final step.
